Polynesian Pork Chops

Polynesian Pork Chops

Ingredients
 3- 4 pork chops, ¾ in thick
1 tbsp garlic, minced
1(20 oz) can pineapple slices, undrained 
2 (10.5 oz) cans cream of golden mushroom soup 
3 tbsp soy sauce 
1 tbsp vegetable oil 
½ cup onion, chopped 
2 tbsp honey 
2 tbsp green onions, sliced

DirectionsPreheat oven to 350°F (175°C). 

Blend pineapple:
In a small blender, combine half of the pineapple slices with the juice from the can. Blend until mostly smooth. 

Make sauce:
In a large bowl, mix together: 
Cream of golden mushroom soup 
Blended pineapple mixture 
Soy sauce 
Garlic 
Honey 
Oil 
Onion 

Assemble dish:
Place pork chops in the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish or a 10.5-inch cast iron grill pan.
Pour the sauce mixture over the top.
Sprinkle with green onions. 

Bake:
Bake uncovered at 350°F for about 60 minutes, or until the pork reaches an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C). 

Prepare extra pineapple:
While the pork cooks, brown the remaining pineapple slices in a graded cast iron pan or on a grill. 

Serve:
Serve pork chops with grilled pineapple slices, snap or snow peas, and white rice.
