What you will need:
1 Box Rice Krispies
1 Bag Mini Marshmallows
3 Tablespoons Butter
12 Large Plastic Easter Eggs
4 – 5 drops Food Coloring
12 Sucker Sticks (optional)
Makes 10 – 12 Krispie Eggs
Half this recipe if you want to use 2 different colors (5 – 6 eggs each)
Directions:
In medium sauce pan melt marshmallows and butter over low heat. Add food coloring to melted marshmallows. Pour into medium bowl with Rice Krispies and mix together.
Scoop mixture into plastic Easter eggs. (tip scoop out of bowl with plastic egg) Press both ends of the egg together and let sit for 10 minutes.
Open eggs and place sucker sticks into bottoms. I usually use Styrofoam to place the sticks into.
