Blueberry Gooey Butter Cake

Delicious Sweet Blueberry Gooey Butter Cake

  • 9 x 13 Cake Pan
  • 2 – 3 x 6 Loaf Pans

Crust

  • 1 box Yellow Cake Mix
  • 1 Egg
  • 8 tbsp Butter (Softened)

Filling

  • 8 oz Cream Cheese (Softened)
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 8 tbsp Butter (Softened)
  • 4 cups Powdered Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Cornstarch
  1. Preheat oven to 350°

  2. In medium mixing bowl, combine yellow cake mix, 1, egg and 1 stick ( 8 tablespoons).butter. Use large spoon to press mixture together ( use hands if needed)



  3. Once thoroughly mixed place into 9 x 13 baking dish and press out to line bottom of the pan.



  4. Using electric mixing beat together 1 stick (8 tablespoons) butter, 3 eggs, cream cheese and vanilla.

  5. Add blueberries and continue mixing. When blueberries are mixed in gradually add powdered sugar.



  6. Pour over crust and bake uncovered at 350° for 40 – 50 minutes. Let cool for 15 – 20 minutes serve warm.
